The Genshin Impact 2.3 update is expected to be released in late November, however gameplay for the new playable character Arataki Itto has already been leaked.
The new playable character will be a five star Geo and is a Claymore user from Inazuma.
Here’s everything you need to know about Arataki Itto and the leaks showing the new playable character in-game as part of Genshin Impact 2.3 Update.
Several elements of Itto have already been leaked, with Honey Impact confirming the full kit for the new playable character back in September 2021.
The footage of the new gameplay was first released to Reddit, and players have been reacting to how the new character seems to control and move in the 2.3 Update.
What Are Players Saying About Arataki Itto?
Fans on the r/Genshin_Impact_Leaks subreddit seem excited by the flow and movement of the new character, with recent leaks suggesting that the developers had buffed certain elements of the character to make his movement better in-game.
One user wrote about the movement of the character ahead of the release, saying “It looks smooth IMO. He has a decent amount of animation work. I like the mask.”
Another user was concerned by the animation on Itto’s last normal attack, as they noted that the ‘lag’ looks quite severe. They said: “I'm only worried about that last normal attack. The hit lag looks insanely long. At least during his burst his attacks look very fluid.”
One user would comment on the ‘noodle arms’ issue for Itto that was being pointed out by several players, saying that the animators at least managed to make his slash attacks look devastating.
“People are understandably disappointed with his noodle arms but I think the animators did a REALLY good job making his slashes look powerful. IMO the huge swings and claymore slam make him seem much stronger than someone like diluc.”
Itto is expected to be released as part of Genshin Impact 2.3 update in November 2021, and we will keep you updated on any and all leaks for the character ahead of the release date!
