Amazon’s Prime Gaming already offers a wealth of extra content for multiplayer titles, and Valorant will be getting more content in 2022.

The company confirmed that the massively popular FPS multiplayer and eSport giant from Riot Games will be getting exclusive content from Prime Gaming in January 2022.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Amazon Prime Gaming content that will be released for Valorant next year.

Prime Gaming is already offering players content in Valorant, with the likes of gun buddies, sprays and cards having been released over the past year.

The announcement of another series of content from Prime Gaming for the massive title is great for players who already subscribe to Amazon’s Prime service to get extra content at no extra cost.

Prime Gaming noted the following on their blog with regards to the content that will be offered at the conclusion of the current 2021 series of freebies:

“Following the conclusion of the current series in January 2022, customers can grab one year’s worth of exclusive improved core content for VALORANT gameplay.

“Content planned includes two weapon skins, two calling cards, four Gunbuddies, and four sprays.”

Riot Games confirmed that they are working in partnership with Prime Gaming going forward, with extras coming as part of the service for League of Legends, LoL eSports, Wild Rift, Legends of Runeterra and of course Valorant.

Larry Plotnick, GM of Prime Gaming, discussed the partnership in a recent press release. He said: “Riot Games is an incredible partner that will help bring even more value to the Amazon Prime membership.

“We’ve been working with Riot for a while now, but this collaboration raises the value bar for customers to ensure Riot’s games are even better with Amazon Prime.

“We’re looking forward to featuring additional content for Prime Gaming members in the coming months.”

The actual schedule for the content has not yet been revealed, however it is likely that Prime Gaming subscribers will be able to get content on a monthly basis, as is usually the case with the service.
