UFC is set to kick off 2022 with a bang and a major fight card towards the middle of February, but what is the fight card for UFC 271?
Several fights appear to have already been decided for the event, with a major Middleweight title fight set to headline the broadcast.
Here is everything you need to know about the UFC 271 fight card that takes place on Saturday February 12th 2022 from an as of yet undisclosed location.
So far, no other fights have been made official for the card, however there are many being rumoured for the event that takes place in February 2022.
UFC 271 Fight Card
Here is the rumoured card for the event in February 2021; we will update this page as soon as the official fights have been confirmed:
- UFC Middleweight Championship: Israel Adesanya (c) vs Robert Whittaker
- Douglas Silva de Andrade vs Sergey Morozov
- AJ Dobson vs Jacob Malkoun
- Kyler Phillips vs Marcelo Rojo
- Alexander Hernandez vs Renato Moicano
Dan Hooker recently revealed that he is set to be part of the fight card, although his opponent has not been confirmed.
Speaking at the UFC 267 press conference, Hooker revealed that: “I haven’t really thought past Christmas in New York.
“We got all those three-fight shows, Bam Bam [Tai Tuivasa], Brad Riddell, Kai Kara-France, New York for Christmas, Israel [Adesanya] is up in February, I’ll be on that card as well. Let’s get it going.”
Other fights are expected to be revealed in the coming months, with the UFC hoping to stack up the early part of 2022 with some major fight cards, starting with UFC 270 and Francis Ngannou vs Ciryl Gane leading into 271 and the Middleweight title contest between Adesanya and Whittaker.
Should Adesanya defeat Whittaker, he will likely move on to a bout with Marvin Vettori, with the Italian having proven against Paulo Costa that he is one of the top contenders in the UFC Middleweight division.
