Scott Brown was on the scoresheet as Aberdeen drew 2-2 with Rangers in their Scottish Premiership clash on Wednesday evening.

Aberdeen went into the game as underdogs but Christian Ramirez's goal after just eight minutes at Ibrox Stadium gave them the lead.

Brown then made it 2-0 eight minutes later.

The long-time Celtic captain doesn't score many goals but he found the net to double his side's lead.

A corner was swung into the box and Brown produced a fantastic diving header which flew past Jon McLaughlin.

That goal would have been extra sweet for Brown given his history with Celtic.

And the 36-year-old proved he was one of the biggest wind up merchants in British football after notching his goal.

With absolutely no hesitation at all Brown got off up off the floor, sprinted towards the Rangers support and then produced a knee-slide right in front of them.

A few projectiles were thrown at Brown but he did not care at all as he raised his arms in triumph.

Unfortunately for Brown, Aberdeen couldn't hold on to all three points.

Alfredo Morelos pulled one back four minutes after Brown's goal. James Tavernier then found the net from the penalty spit with nine minutes remaining to restore parity.

There were no further goals as the game finished 2-2.

Despite not ending up on the winning side, Brown took to Instagram after the game to express his pleasure at scoring his goal.
