Cole Palmer has set his sights on emulating Phil Foden after breaking onto the scene at Manchester City, according to the Sun journalist Tom Barclay.
Palmer was handed his senior City debut last year, but he has gone on to enjoy more first-team opportunities this season.

There had been signs from the get-go that Palmer would be involved with the Premier League champions' senior squad more often this term when boss Pep Guardiola handed him a start in the Community Shield defeat to Leicester City.
He has gone on to make two substitute appearances in the Premier League but it is in cup competitions where Palmer has really made his mark.
The 19-year-old, who was in Guardiola's starting line-up as City lost their stranglehold on the Carabao Cup thanks to a penalty shoot-out defeat to West Ham United on Wednesday, grabbed his first senior goal for the club as they comfortably overcame League One side Wycombe Wanderers in the previous round.
He then went on to mark his first Champions League appearance of the season by getting his name on the scoresheet in the group stage win over Belgian outfit Club Brugge.
Guardiola praised the attacking midfielder after becoming just the third teenager - following Phil Foden and Kelechi Iheanacho - to score for City in the competition.

Barclay has revealed Palmer has set his sights on following in 21-year-old England international Foden's footsteps.
The journalist reckons Palmer will go on to become a key player at the Etihad Stadium after already showing his capabilities in the Champions League.

He told GIVEMESPORT: "Cole Palmer has spoken before about how he wants to emulate Foden, who is a fellow youngster born in the Greater Manchester area.
"I think that goal in the Champions League just continued what I've seen so far.
"If he can continue doing that, he could be a real star for Manchester City."

Talking on BBC Sounds' Football Daily podcast, via BBC Sport, former Chelsea ace Pat Nevin claimed that Palmer will go on to become a "top-class player" after working his way through City's academy system.
He is highly thought of at international level as well, with him scoring in both of his first two appearances for the England under-21s.
That comes after representing his country at every age level from the under-15s to the under-18s.
