Tyson Fury’s wife, Paris Fury, has confirmed that her husband will “definitely” wrestle for WWE again following his brief run with the company in 2019.
Tyson Fury had a brief stint with WWE towards the latter part of 2019, leading to a match at Crown Jewel with Braun Strowman, which he ended up winning.
Paris Fury also said that the undefeated boxer will “definitely” work with WWE again in the future, having the following to say to Tom Campbell:
He is in touch with Vince McMahon all the time. He loves it. My sons are all big fans of it. For Tyson to do it is kind of like a Disneyland trip, the kids love to go and they meet all the wrestlers. To be that cool dad that can give them kids that dream, he does it. I think that’s one of the reasons we’ve come to do this, and obviously being a young man he told me he was a fan of all these wrestlers. So he’s definitely probably going to go into that again. I’m sure he will bounce into that WWE ring one of the days,
Fury hasn’t appeared on WWE television since assisting Braun Strowman in a beatdown of The B-Team at a SmackDown show in England in November 2019.
At this time, there is no word on when Fury will be returning to WWE, but his wife has implied that it’s simply a matter of when, not if.
WWE is set to hold a pay-per-view in the UK, if reports are to be believed, in September 2022, and some have speculated that Fury, being a mainstream UK name, could appear at the show in some capacity.
