The agent of Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani expects AC Milan to activate the buyout clause entered into the Italian's contract.
Aquilani has played 13 times for Milan this season after moving to the San Siro on a season-long loan deal.
The Rossoneri will be required to buy the 27-year-old from Liverpool should he make a specific number of appearances over the course of the campaign, and Franco Zavaglia expects that to happen.
“We can without doubt consider Milan activating the buy-out clause to be a pure formality, especially as he’ll soon reach the written parameters set by Milan and Liverpool," Zavaglia told Itasportpress.
“Alberto is doing well and I think this is clear for all to see."
Aquilani signed for Liverpool from Roma for £20 million in the summer of 2009 but failed to leave a lasting impression at Anfield.
Liverpool allowed him to spend the entirety of last season with Juventus and, after returning to Merseyside, he was sent back out to Italy again in August.
