Paco Alcacer, a reported target for Liverpool and Arsenal, has signed a contract extension with Valencia.
The 18-year-old forward continues to impress at the Mestalla, and has netted nine times in 11 appearances for Valencia's second string this term.
This fine form has prompted Els taronja to tie Alcacer down and, despite interest from Liverpool and Arsenal, the Spaniard will stay in Valencia until 2016 at least.
"He has shown, despite the interest of several clubs to seize his services, a desire to continue at Valencia," club president Manuel Llorente said.
"Alcacer is and will be a very important player for the team, as are others, and will bring much joy to Mestalla and our supporters."
Alcacer has been frequently linked with a move to either Anfield or the Emirates Stadium in recent months, but Kenny Dalglish and Arsene Wenger will now have to look elsewhere for reinforcements.
The rival managers have also been linked with respective moves for Wigan striker Hugo Rodallega, whose future at the DW Stadium is uncertain.
