Ahead of the final fight of his MMA career in Abu Dhabi, Khabib Nurmagomedov had a comical interaction with Kyle Forgeard of NELK.The Canadian YouTube group, who are close friends of Dana White, were invited to Khabib’s bout with Justin Gaethje and were the only people in attendance other than the UAE Royal Family. Some pretty impressive shoulders to be rubbing against, but of course, this was down to the coronavirus pandemic and the fact most sporting events had to take place behind closed doors. What took place when Khabib and Kyle met, though, is simply remarkable and VERY memorable...In the clip, Kyle initially told Khabib that Jorge Masvidal hooked up with his girlfriend in Miami, which then prompted the internet star to ask how he would go about training to fight him and win back his woman.Clearly, the prankster was on a wind up and this didn't actually happen, but the Russian was not to know, and he didn't shy away from the conversation like most probably would have. After telling Khabib his age, The Eagle said that Kyle was too old to start MMA training and that his best chance of beating Masvidal was to bring a dog along with him, specifically a pit bull.

The exchange was one of many segments of a video on NELK’s YouTube channel which highlighted their trip to the UAE’s capital.

Before speaking to Khabib, they also had a chat with his opponent on the night Gaethje, asking him some NSFW questions about his pre-fight rituals.

Kyle and co. also met Australian heavyweight Tai Tuivasa and did his traditional “shoey” celebration after his victory over Stefan Struve.

With NELK in attendance, Khabib took down Gaethje to go 29-0 in his professional career before announcing his retirement after the fight.

Khabib may be gone from UFC, but NELK have been ever present at various fights since visiting Abu Dhabi. Most notably, they sat right behind Donald Trump at UFC 264.

Given how close they are with UFC head honcho White, best believe that there will be many more hilarious interactions between the YouTube sensations and other UFC fighters in the near future.
