Dataminers have discovered some major new packs coming to FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, with fans set to get some major upgrades and rewards.
The information surrounding the content added to the code was revealed on Twitter by @LEVELd_Up, who noted what players can hopefully expect to see in the mode in the coming weeks and months.
Here's everything that we know about the new packs that will be coming to FIFA Ultimate Team in the near future.
Fans have been speculating about why EA may be adding these major new packs to the game already, with some noting on the r/FIFA subreddit that it is a reaction to the recent 'market crash.'
One user wrote: "they [EA] must be desperate to revive the market if we get this already lol."
It's certainly not confirmed if these new substantial packs are being added to the game already to combat the recent issues with the FUT market, but they are certainly headline-making additions to the FUT system.
New FUT Packs Incoming
@LEVELd_Up confirmed that they had found the following in the code for the game: "Damn!. EA has just added some crazy stuff into the code:
- 82+ Player packs
- Hero upgrade pack
- Icon upgrade packs
- 81-86 Rated players pack
It was later revealed on r/FIFA that 82+ Player packs were not quite what they seemed, with a user noting: "The 82+ Pack actually looks to be an attribute over 82, rather than a rating. Which... makes it a lot more sh*t, but hopefully a lot cheaper."
It is not confirmed when these packs will be released into the game, or whether a coder has just made a mistake and listed some items as a stop-gap that will never actually make it in the Ultimate Team system.
Hopefully, fans will be able to get their fans on these (at first glance) sizeable additions to the FIFA Ultimate Team pack selections in the near future.
