After months of arguing on social media, Jake Paul and Tommy Fury have finally agreed on a date to face each other in the ring.
Paul and Fury have now officially announced that the two will battle it out on December 18 in Florida, at the Amalie Arena in Tampa.
The fight is scheduled for eight, three-minute rounds, two rounds longer than Fury has fought so far in his career. Paul, however, managed to go the distance in his last fight against Tyron Woodley, lasting the full eight rounds and winning via decision.
The pair will fight at a catchweight of 192lbs, roughly the same as most of Paul's previous fights, but it will be the first time Fury has fought over 189lbs.
Both the distance of the fight and the weight could see Jake Paul enter the fight with an advantage as he is comfortable with both, whereas for Fury, both of these aspects are new territory.
It's a fight that many thought would never come to fruition, with several fans claiming that Jake would fail to agree a contract with Fury as none of his previous fights have been against an active boxer. The majority of Paul's previous opponents have been dismissed by many as underwhelming.

So far, Jake has fought against another social media personality in AnEson Gib, former NBA star Nate Robinson and retired UFC stars Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley. Hardly an impressive resume in the world of boxing.
But credit must be given to Paul as he attempts to change that. Tommy Fury is a young, professional boxer with an unbeaten record, all things Jake has avoided so far.
This fight will be the first genuine test of Jake Paul's boxing skills, and it will be interesting to see whether he can hold his own with a professional opponent.
Speaking after the fight was officially announced, Fury said: "Jake Paul is about to learn a serious life lesson. This is my world and he doesn't belong here. I'm not one of these MMA men or basketball players, I have been boxing my whole life. I will show the world the difference between a YouTuber and a real fighting man."
Taking to Instagram, Paul also reacted to the announcement, posting: "It’s finally official. Timothy had no choice but to sign the contract so he could finally pay his bar tabs, afford a shirt for the club and stop living off Molly!
"December 18 in Tampa Bay, I'm changing this w*****'s name to Tommy Fumbles and celebrating with Tom Brady.
"Pucker up Timmy... it’s time to kiss your last name and your family’s boxing legacy goodbye. Ez money lineup here aye? #PaulFury One Will Fall."
