Roy Keane was given the platform to discuss Manchester United's current struggles on Sky Sports on Saturday - and he didn't disappoint. The Irishman was at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to oversee his former club's Premier League game against Nuno Espirito Santo's side.It came a week after United's 5-0 hammering at the hands of Liverpool, which left Ole Gunnar Solskjaer under serious pressure of losing his job.

Keane criticised United players pre-game

There has been plenty of debate surrounding Solskjaer's qualities and whether he is the right man to lead the Red Devils.

However, in the pre-match build-up, Keane took aim at Solskjaer's players, complaining about their apologies following last Sunday's loss.

"A lot of talk coming out this week, apologies coming out left, right and centre, it's not good," Keane said. "It's all rubbish.

"All that kind of nonsense coming from players, from team [Marcus] Rashford, from [Harry] Maguire, [Bruno] Fernandes a few weeks ago."

Keane's impression of Maguire

Keane then came for United's defenders, naming Maguire, Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

“Maguire and Shaw last week were an absolute disgrace to the club," he added. "I don't even think [Crystal] Palace would take Wan-Bissaka back."

Keane then performed an impression of Maguire in a clip you're going to see plenty of times in the coming weeks. It has the potential to be a long-lasting meme.

Keane said: "I heard Maguire talking during the week - he was like a robot. He was like 'er, er, er, apologies to the fans.' There's no emotion behind it.”

Absolutely quality.

Keane was on fire ahead of the game, the importance of which was heightened by a run of four games without a win in the league for United.
