The Portuguese forward, who scored a stunning volley in the first half, turned provider for Cavani, who finished off a fine move.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his side entered Saturday’s game under serious pressure following the 5-0 defeat to Liverpool, but they responded in style in north London.
Ronaldo, who has faced some criticism for his recent performances, starred with a fine goal, before he provided a brilliant assist in the 64th minute.

Bruno Fernandes won possession in midfield before passing to Ronaldo, who found space with a fine chop.
The 36-year-old then played a perfectly-weighted pass into Cavani’s path, and the Uruguayan did the rest.
Ronaldo was taken off shortly afterwards. His work for the day was done.

Solskjaer’s side added a third goal through Marcus Rashford later on in what turned into an emphatic win.
The last few weeks have been tough for the Red Devils – Roy Keane didn’t hold back in his assessment pre-match – but they now find themselves just three points behind rivals Manchester City in the Premier League table.
So, things suddenly look a little rosier for the Norwegian.
