His all-round performances have been world-class, while he’s already scored two goal of the season contenders in recent weeks against Manchester City and Watford.

The Ultimate Mohamed Salah Quiz: How well do you know the Liverpool star?

In his debut campaign at the club, Salah broke records to score 32 goals in 36 Premier League matches, while he bagged 44 in total.

He would have taken many Premier League defences by surprise, with many unaware of his ridiculous pace and goalscoring ability.

One team that was certainly caught off guard early in Salah’s Liverpool career was Arsenal.

Salah’s third Premier League appearance in a Liverpool shirt came against Arsenal at Anfield. The Egyptian scored during a 4-0 victory.

His goal was brilliantly bizarre as he ran through on goal from inside his own half to finish past Petr Cech.

However, Arsenal’s lack of organisation from their own corner led to some rather brilliant footage from Liverpool’s tunnel cam.

It captured Salah across the halfway line with the ball as the crowd get excited. A split second later, a host of Arsenal and Liverpool players can be seen running after him.

While the camera doesn’t capture the goal, the reaction from the crowd - and the very excitable bloke in the tunnel - will tell you that Salah finished off his run.

Accompanied by the Benny Hill music, it’s rather hilarious.

Brilliant.

At the weekend, Salah wasn’t able to score in his 11th consecutive match for Liverpool as Jurgen Klopp’s side were held to a 2-2 draw by Brighton.

They will be looking to bounce back on Wednesday when Atletico Madrid come to town.

One thing is for sure, you won’t catch Diego Simone’s men defending like Arsenal did back in 2017.
