In attendance for the fight was none other than Hasbulla, who is also known as 'mini Khabib,' and it was he who made a lot of the headlines from Fight Island.
Earlier in the week, he had recorded a video and sent it to the president of UFC Dana White, informing him that he would be in attendance for the event.
In the video sent to the UFC boss, Hasbulla said: “Dana White, I’m coming to UFC Abu Dhabi. See you soon.”
He continued by saying: “I’m on the plane. I’m on Etihad, right now, on my way to Abu Dhabi. I cannot wait for our meeting and I cannot wait to see you.”
As for the bout itself, Makhachev won the fight in less than three minutes as a result of a technical submission. His training partner Khabib Nurmagomedov and Hasbulla Magomedov were in his corner throughout, with The Eagle being very vocal when it came to instructions, especially when the fight was on the mat.
In the aftermath of the scrap, Makhachev and his team celebrated inside the Octagon with Hasbulla on Khabib's shoulders, and then after their celebrations they went to pay their respects to ‘the Hangman’.
During the celebration, Hasbulla, the social media personality who has always been known as a bit of a joker, was seen butting heads with Khabib, who had put him on his shoulder.
UFC fans loved seeing the light-hearted fun between the two of them after an intense fight, with plenty of them replying to the tweet with the laughing emoji face.
Khabib and ‘Mini Khabib’ are good friends and they can be seen hanging out a lot on a lot of social media posts, so it's no surprise they were being playful with each other post-fight.
After watching all the fight at UFC 267, Hasbulla eventually met his rival Abdu Rozik, and after a while, tempers flared.
As seen in another viral video, fists were raised both in the cage and outside in Abu Dhabi.
We’re yet to see whether a promoter will pay for these two to have it out in the cage anytime soon.News Now - Sport News
