Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge has said that he wouldn't be surprised to see Raheem Sterling commit his future to Manchester City and sign a new contract.
The England international, who's valued at £81m by Transfermarkt, has entered the final two years of his contract and has since been linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium.

It's been a strange period for the forward, who's been a guaranteed starter for the best part of the last six years since joining from Liverpool.

However, in recent months, Sterling has found himself on the bench on several occasions and it wouldn't be unfair to say that he's not currently in Pep Guardiola's best XI.
He's started less than half of City's Premier League games this season and has hardly fared much better in the Champions League.
Sterling, who's capped 71 times at international level, recently said, recently reported by the Telegraph, that he's open to leaving Manchester City given his lack of opportunities and failed to rule out the possibility of playing aboard.
Despite his career at the Etihad seemingly coming towards an end, Bridge said that he still believes there's still a chance Sterling pens a new deal.

He told GIVEMESPORT: "It wouldn't surprise me if he signed a new contract."
Can Sterling win his place back in Guardiola's side?
With just a handful of goal involvements across all competitions this season, whilst his goals have almost dried up completely in the last six months, it's easy to remember the Sterling of now and not the one that has scored more than 100 times for City.
Furthermore, less than four months ago, Sterling was one of the best players at Euro 2020 and showed that he's still one of the top attacking players in the Premier League on his day.
But it's clear to see that he's suffering from a loss of confidence, probably not helped by seeing some of his teammates hitting top form.
However, Guardiola has never been totally set on a best XI, and with games coming thick and fast, Sterling might be only a couple of good performances from being back in the fold.
