Theo Walcott has been impressed with the impact Gervinho has made during his short spell with Arsenal, but believes the Ivorian forward as even more to give.
Gervinho moved to north London in July having starred for Lille during their domestic double winning season, and has made an instant impact at the Emirates Stadium.
The 24-year-old has found the net twice and grabbed an impressive seven assists in only 13 games for the Gunners to announce himself as a player to be reckoned with in the Barclays Premier League.
Walcott has certainly liked what he has seen from his new teammate, and expects Gervinho will continue to grow as the season progresses.
“He's been fantastic this season,” Walcott told Arsenal.com.
“Obviously [English football] is totally different to what he's used to playing but now he is playing week in week out in the Premier League, which is very physical, and he is showing his qualities.
“He has still got a lot to learn and he knows that - but you can start to see that Gervinho is going to be the right type of player for Arsenal.”News Now - Sport News
