The door has been left open for Daniel Bryan (now Bryan Danielson) to return to WWE at some point in the future.Daniel Bryan's WWE contract expired in May of this year, with the former WWE Champion wrapping up his time with the company following a Universal Championship match with Roman Reigns on SmackDown. However, this may not be the last we see of the 40-year-old in Vince McMahon's company, as a new report has claimed that the door is open for him to return in the future. While nothing will be happening soon, with Bryan signing with All Elite Wrestling in September, Fightful Select is reporting that the door has been left open for him to come back to the company in the future:

When speaking to those within WWE, they said that they feel the door is open for a potential return for Danielson down the line and he left on "very good terms."

As the report notes, Bryan Danielson is said to have left WWE on "very good terms", which has been highlighted by the fact he's spoken about Vince McMahon since his departure.

Unlike many other wrestlers who have left WWE, Bryan Danielson has been incredibly complimentary of his relationship with Vince McMahon in his interviews following his AEW debut.

We have seen several wrestlers leave WWE, only to return years down the line, and it's possible that Bryan Danielson goes on to become one of these names.

Vince McMahon has been in the news somewhat lately, with reports revealing that the WWE Chairman was in Saudi Arabia this week for business meetings, which you can find out more information about by clicking here.
