Khabib Nurmagomedov is one of the, if not, the greatest fighter in UFC history and has had a career anyone in combat sports would love to have.

The Russian managed to win all of his 29 fights, being pretty dominant in all of them.

The Eagle was fearless inside the Octagon and always managed to keep his opponents on the back foot.

When stepping into the cage with the lightweight legend, fighters knew not to approach him or get too close to him because he'd just grapple them, take them to the mat, and submit them. That's how he operated and it worked every single time.

Whoever did dare to fight Khabib not only ended up on the losing side, but also looked to be on the defensive all the time.

However, there was one fighter, who, while still tasting defeat due to submission, was offensive while fighting the Russian. Well, more offensive than those before and after him that is anyway.

This individual is none other than Conor McGregor.

Khabib submitted the Irishman with a neck crank, but he still put up a bit of a fight against him, something the likes of Justin Gaethje could not do.

A video has emerged on social media that shows some of the Russian's other opponents getting away from him, so as to avoid blows or the feared grapple, while McGregor went on the front foot and attacked him.

Following his defeat, McGregor wanted a rematch, but that never came to fruition as Khabib announced his retirement after defeating Gaethje.

Nonetheless, the Irishman put in more of a fight against Khabib than any of his other opponents. Maybe Tony Ferguson would've done well too if a bout between him and the Russian happened.
