WWE is set to celebrate Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson for the entirety of November, as announced on social media this afternoon.

The Rock debuted for WWE as Rocky Maivia at Survivor Series 1996, meaning this year's event on November 21 will mark 25 years since his debut for the promotion.

Taking to Twitter today, WWE has officially announced that the month of November is going to honour the 25-year career of Dwayne Johnson.

The following announcement was made on social media today, with very little being revealed about what 'The Rock month' is going to actually entail.

As noted, there is no word on what 'The Rock month' is going to actually mean for WWE television, but could we potentially be seeing an appearance from 'The Great One' at some stage over the next four weeks?

WWE will likely be putting on video packages to celebrate The Rock's career on Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown, but have speculated that he'll actually be appearing on a show in some capacity.

It was initially reported that The Rock would be appearing at Survivor Series later this month, but Dwayne Johnson is set to be in Australia filming, so that doesn't seem like it's going to be possible.

It's important to note that it hasn't been confirmed that The Rock is going to be appearing on any show this month, either by WWE or by a reputable journalist.
