We now have a better idea as to why AJ Styles has missed the last few weeks of Monday Night Raw, although the picture is not fully clear yet.

On the October 26 episode of WWE Raw, AJ Styles and Omos were slated to challenge Randy Orton and Riddle for the Raw Tag Team Championship, but the match didn't end up happening.

The match ended up being pulled at the last minute, and while Omos was on the show, AJ Styles was noticeably absent.

The same was true for last night's show too, with AJ Styles also not appearing on last night's episode of Monday Night Raw, despite Omos being absent and appearing.

While the picture is not fully clear right now, Dave Meltzer has given a better idea as to why AJ Styles hasn't been on the show for the last few weeks.

On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer explains that Styles has been missing due to an undisclosed "non-injury medical issue":

“AJ’s got a non-injury medical issue, is what I was told. I’m sure he’s gonna yell and scream about it at some point, but that is what they said. A non-injury medical issue.”

There is no word on when AJ Styles is slated to be able to return to in-ring competition, but we wish him nothing but the best with whatever he's going through right now.

AJ Styles and Omos remained on Monday Night Raw in the WWE Draft, but reports have indicated that the company considered potentially splitting them up and having Omos go on a singles run.
