Back in May 2013, Khabib Nurmagomemdov fought Abel Trujillo and beat the American via unanimous decision.

While the fight may have been entertaining, the weigh-in is still glorious to this day.

Boxing legend Mike Tyson was Dana White’s special guest on the day and we all know Iron Mike is no stranger to some pre-fight chaos.

Khabib's bout may have been low on the undercard, but tensions began to flare between him and Trujillo after the Russian missed weight by 2.5lbs, which prompted The Eagle to forfeit 20% of his fight purse. Half of that ultimately went to Trujillo.

As the two fighters stared each other down, Khabib decided to shove Trujillo, much to the delight of Tyson, who could not contain his excitement as a scuffle broke out.

You can watch the intense face-off and Tyson's humorous reaction in the video below. Keep your eyes peeled top right for Iron Mike!

White spoke about said scrap to MMAjunkie.com, saying: “The nicest guys in the world are the meanest, nastiest dudes you’ve ever seen on weigh-in day.

“That’s why I’m always right there. When he pushed him, I said, ‘Jesus Christ, I’m getting old. I can’t even stop a push now.’ … But that’s why we’re there.

“That’s what happens. We’re there to make sure the fight doesn’t happen before the fight.

“We can handle a little pushing around here. These guys are miserable. They’re nasty. He didn’t make weight.”

Following the weigh-in, Khabib took care of business in the Octagon, recording a record 21 take-downs ahead of his unanimous decision victory.

Since the UFC 160 weigh-in, Tyson and Khabib have remained close, with The Eagle having recently appeared on Iron Mike’s podcast.

Both fighters may be retired, but Khabib is still heavily involved in the world of MMA and is currently training the next generation of future stars, most notably his compatriot Islam Makhachev.
