Graham Roberts has said that Antonio Conte took his first training session as Tottenham boss this afternoon and is expecting to see the standards raised at Hotspur Way.
The Italian made his return to management on Tuesday morning when he was confirmed as Nuno Espirito Santo's replacement just 24 hours after the Portuguese was sacked by Daniel Levy.

A little more than five months after the 52-year-old left his post at Inter Milan, he finally became Tottenham manager after his move in the summer collapsed.
Conte was the name on everyone's lips once Nuno was relieved of his duties, although Spurs didn't officially announce the deal until the following day.

His first game back in the Premier League game will be at Everton on Sunday, but Conte has a Europa Conference League tie against Vitesse to contend with before the north London outfit travel to Goodison Park this weekend.
The Vitesse game means that Conte has limited time with the players on the training pitch before they take to the field on Thursday night.
Tottenham have covered just 99km this season, the lowest in the Premier League, which suggests there's plenty for the ex-Chelsea boss to get his teeth stuck into in the coming weeks.
And Roberts said that he began work at Hotspur Way earlier this afternoon and he expects the players to respond to his demands in a positive way following a torrid end to Nuno's reign.

He told GIVEMESPORT: "I would expect a change in training as well because what happens is, how you train, is how you play.

"I would expect to see more running around, more urgency in the team and I was told today they're training this afternoon, so I'm sure he will be on that training pitch, and he will bring his coaching staff with him."
What are Conte's priorities at Tottenham?
It's difficult to know exactly what Tottenham need right now. They haven't recovered from losing Mauricio Pochettino almost two years ago and have failed under both Jose Mourinho and Nuno.
In the short-term, Conte needs to pick up some results, climb the table and reunite the fans after the extremely toxic atmosphere against Manchester United on Saturday led to Nuno's sacking.
It's generally been a miserable start to the campaign, but the Italian boss has got plenty of time to put things right and quickly get Spurs moving in the right direction.
But it's not all doom and gloom, Tottenham are five points off the top four and furthermore, Conte arrives with a Carabao Cup quarter-final on the horizon against West Ham next month.
