Dennis Bergkamp is one of the greatest players to have ever wore an Arsenal shirt.

Some of the things he did with a football during his 11-year stint with the Gunners were just remarkable.

Arguably his most ridiculous moment came on December 4, 2001.

Bergkamp was named on the bench for Arsenal's Champions League match against Juventus at Highbury.

He was introduced in the 69th minute and, 19 minutes later, he produced one of the most incredible assists in Champions League history.

The Dutch great had the ball on the edge of the box with two Juventus players in front of him.

He showed some nimble footwork to beat both of them, before producing a quite outrageous lobbed pass with the outside of his foot that found Freddie Ljungberg inside the box.

The Swede would make no mistake when one-on-one with Gianluigi Buffon as he lifted the ball into the net.

It was a moment of pure wizardry from Bergkamp and you can watch it below...

A close-up video of his assist in slow-motion makes it look even better...

Berkgamp was just outrageous, wasn't he?! He must have been an absolute joy to play with on a weekly basis.

That has to be one of the best assists in Champions League history. You would certainly have a hard time thinking of one that would top Bergkamp's almost 20 years ago.

Football fans have been reacting to his assist and you can view some of the comments below...
