Vince McMahon: WWE Chairman's reported opinion of Bray Wyatt revealed

Vince McMahon didn't like Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt was believed to be outspoken about WWE’s bad booking surrounding his character, and this is believed to have angered Vince McMahon.

Many fans were frustrated with how Bray Wyatt was handled by WWE during his time with the company, and these feelings were seemingly shared by the man himself.

Fightful Select is reporting that Wyatt was “outspoken” when he felt as if the booking surrounding his character and feuds wasn’t up to standard.

The report notes that this upset Vince McMahon, with some in WWE suggesting to the site that the WWE Chairman grew to dislike Wyatt as a result:

There were numerous people backstage who said that Wyatt was outspoken when he thought creative was bad, and by the end, some felt Vince McMahon just didn’t like him due to that.

The report also goes on to speak about how WrestleMania 37 was a particularly frustrating time for Bray Wyatt, especially surrounding his storyline with Randy Orton.

It’s widely known that the finish to the Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt match, which Orton surprisingly ended up winning, was changed just a few days before WrestleMania 37.

We’re told that he and Randy Orton among others involved with the WrestleMania match were not happy with the creative direction or outcome of that match, which changed two days before the show

The report also goes on to note that other members of the WWE roster approached Orton and Wyatt to speak about how they “felt bad” that about the creative behind the WrestleMania match

We’ve heard of WWE Superstars that actually approached Orton and Wyatt, saying they felt bad that the WrestleMania match was getting changed.

Bray Wyatt was surprisingly released by WWE on July 31, and now his 90-day non-compete has expired, the former WWE Champion is free to work elsewhere.
