Desailly trolls Spurs on Instagram

However, not everyone is quite as enthused about Conte's appointment at Spurs as others.

In fact, Chelsea legend Marcel Desailly has made his feelings infinitely clear with a comedic post on his Instagram story trolling Spurs as a club in general.

The image, which you can see below, shows former Spurs boss, Jose Mourinho, whispering something into the ear of Conte in a previous meeting, with a speech bubble dubbed onto the picture and four laughing emojis to boot.

'They pay you to come, then they pay to leave and you don't even have to win anything. It's incredible!!'

Brilliant.

Unsurprisingly, Chelsea fans have been lapping up the content and having a good chuckle at what, for now, is a painfully true statement for Spurs.

However, should Conte be given the time he needs, and should Levy back him to the hilt in the market, then this joke could come back to bite the French legend.
