Football is all about maintaining a positive relationship with your teammates both on and off the pitch.

At Bristol City, team morale is a huge part of the club's philosophy, and their latest sponsor, Miss Kick, has put this to the test in a hilarious new video.

Grace Vella, the founder of the sporting apparel company, went undercover to prank the team during a photoshoot alongside Bristol striker Abi Harrison.

To mark the first time the Vixens met their new sleeve sponsor, they teamed up to bring some fun to Ashton Gate.

The players arrived expecting a photoshoot like any other — put the gear on, stand in front of a green screen, strike a few poses. But an actor posing as the photographer would make it one of the strangest days of their lives.

Vella and Harrison sat hidden away as they gave the photographer instructions through a hidden earpiece — the same kind of trick made popular most recently by television double act Ant and Dec.

The duo have taken part in countless pranks like this — including interfering with TV shows This Morning and Loose Women while they were live on air.

Sophie Whitehouse, Ella Powell, Simran Jhamat, Lia Cataldo, and Melissa Johnson all fell victim to the photoshoot prank.

The actor asked the players to reenact the famous Jack and Rose Titanic song, play an invisible piano, and start an energetic group chant of Miss Kick's 'Game. Change. Her.' slogan.

"We actually would have done anything," laughed Powell after discovering the shoot was a hoax.

We're sure the real photoshoot went ahead and Miss Kick won't be featuring action photos of air guitar playing on the online catalogue.

Bristol City are next in action on Monday, November 8th in a Championship clash against Coventry United.
