Newcastle United's owners have endured sleepless nights as they look to get the new era well and truly underway, according to Newcastle World journalist Liam Kennedy.
Newcastle are under new ownership after a takeover worth £305million was eventually completed last month, bringing the curtain down on Mike Ashley's 14-year reign.

The consortium, led by the Public Investment Fund, remain on the lookout for a new manager after head coach Steve Bruce departed by mutual consent last month.
Reports suggested the new owners had whittled the number of applicants still in the running for the job down to two, with Unai Emery being the preferred candidate and Eddie Howe an alternative option.
However, they were frustrated by the news that Emery has opted to remain at Villarreal.
Graeme Jones, who was a member of Bruce's backroom staff before his exit, has been in interim charge of the Magpies for the last two fixtures.
But Jones has been unable to turn Newcastle's fortunes around as they are still searching for their first win of the season and only Norwich City have a worse record in the Premier League.
The Magpies are now the richest club in the world following the takeover and it has been reported that they are nearing a new manager appointment, with the new owners hoping to unveil Bruce's successor before the upcoming international break.

Kennedy insists the Magpies' new-look hierarchy have been working around the clock in a bid to get the club on the right track.
The journalist told GIVEMESPORT: "I know they've been working tirelessly.
"There's been a lot of nights that have gone by in these last few weeks, from the top figures in particular, where there hasn't been a lot of sleep.

"There's been a lot of work going on but Newcastle United is a huge project.
"It's a massive football club but it's a shell of a football club all the same."
Are the owners likely to splash the cash in the transfer window?
Newcastle have been linked with a host of players since the takeover was completed, with Burnley central defender James Tarkowski thought to be among their first targets.
Manchester United quartet Anthony Martial, Jesse Lingard, Donny van de Beek and Eric Bailly are also on the Magpies' radar.
Newcastle are reportedly plotting a January move for Southampton captain James Ward-Prowse, while Watford winger Ismaila Sarr is a target as the reopening of the transfer window draws closer.
