Paris Saint-Germain had to settle for a 2-2 draw away at RB Leipzig in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.

A late penalty from young sensation Dominik Szoboszlai secured a point for the German outfit and that's the least they deserved.

Christopher Nkunku put the hosts 1-0 ahead after just eight minutes, but PSG responded with an unexpected brace from summer signing Gini Wijnaldum before the break.

Leipzig had a plethora of chances to equalise in the second half, but had to wait until stoppage-time to beat Gianluigi Donnarumma for a second time.

If the German side had found an equaliser earlier, they would almost certainly have won the game.

All in all, it was yet another disappointing team performance by Mauricio Pochettino's PSG, one which highlighted the team's many flaws.

The forward line looked disjointed for much of the game, to the point where Angel Di Maria tried his hardest to press Leipzig's defence while Neymar casually tied his laces.

No, we haven't conjured up a hypothetical incident to take a swipe at PSG, that really did happen.

Take a look at the evidence here, which also includes Neymar pitifully sticking out his leg while tying his laces...

Okay, we understand that a footballer's laces being untied poses some problems and it's imperative that the issue is fixed pretty quickly.

But surely a player can help his teammates press the opponent for a few seconds before bending down to tie them, right?!

Because unfortunately, it's not a great look if you don't at least do that, especially when you're playing for a team that's facing criticism from far and wide.

Neymar's start to 2021/22 at PSG has been average at best, the Brazilian superstar scoring just one goal in 10 appearances across all competitions - and that came from the penalty spot.

When he's travelled back to South America to represent his country during international breaks this season, the 29-year-old has looked like a world beater.

But Neymar's form at PSG must be worrying Pochettino and the board, especially given that Lionel Messi's start to life at the club has been far from the best as well.
