Mohamed Salah and his Liverpool teammates will have Champions League knockout football to look forward to after beating Atletico Madrid 2-0 on Wednesday night. The Reds will finish top of Group B after completing the double over the team tipped by most to give them the biggest challenge. But Jurgen Klopp's side made it four wins from four with a comfortable victory over the Spanish side at Anfield.Diogo Jota and Sadio Mane scored in the first half and the game was effectively over when Felipe was shown a straight red card in the 36th minute."When I saw the group I didn't think we'd be through after four games but the boys did it and it's well deserved," Klopp said at full-time, per Sky Sports.

Salah put on a show

Wednesday's win marked the first game since Liverpool beat Burnley 2-0 in August that Salah didn't contribute with a goal or assist.

It's a reminder of the extraordinary level that the Egyptian is playing at right now that, despite not getting on the stats sheet, he still produced a fine display.

He caused Atletico Madrid's defenders fits throughout the encounter and could have scored in the second half.

He tried to embarrass Atletico

Salah was keen to put on a show and a video of him toying with Atletico's players late on in the match has emerged.

The video features clips of Salah from the 83rd minute to the 85th.

In that time, the 29-year-old went on a tear. Mario Hermoso, in particular, got it bad, being sent to the shops by Salah's quick feet.

Salah was genuinely on a mission to humiliate Atletico.

Klopp: We will show up in final games

With top spot secured, Klopp could be forgiven for ringing the changes in Liverpool's final two group games against Porto and AC Milan

However, the German coach insists that whatever team he puts out, they will "show up."

"You earn a lot of money if you win Champions League games," he added. "Not me personally, it's just for the club it's important so that's what we will do.

"We are Liverpool, what can we do? Let them play? Then going to Milan, I've never been there and we will show up there as well."
