Kyle O'Reilly could be on his way out of NXT and WWE altogether as reports have suggested that his contract with the company is set to expire very soon.

Kyle O'Reilly signed with WWE in 2017 alongside Adam Cole and Bobby Fish, and it now seems like the former NXT Tag Champion could be following his former stablemates out of the company.

PWInsider is reporting that Kyle O'Reilly contract with WWE expires at some stage next month, with no exact date being given.

There's been a lot of talk internally about the future of NXT star Kyle O'Reilly as his current WWE contract is slated to expire next month

The future seems somewhat unclear for the 34-year-old, as while he could always re-sign with WWE and extend his contract, it's also possible that he looks to move on.

Speaking of the aforementioned Adam Cole, the former NXT Champion let his WWE contract expire in August of this year, and opted to sign with AEW instead of renewing with WWE.

It's plausible that Kyle O'Reilly will look at the route taken by Adam Cole and look to follow down the same path, while he could also follow in the footsteps of Pete Dunne, who signed a new deal with WWE this summer.

What could seem attractive to Kyle O'Reilly is the possibility to reunite the incredibly popular Undisputed Era faction outside of WWE, likely in AEW.

Both Adam Cole and Bobby Fish, the latter of whom was released by WWE this year, are signed to AEW, so that seems like the likely landing point for the group, should they look to reform outside of WWE.

As noted, the future is unclear for Kyle O'Reilly, and no one can be sure of his next move, so make sure you stay tuned to GiveMeSport for any potential updates on the matter.
