Emma Raducanu is continuing to add to her growing list of endorsement deals as she was revealed as the new face of Sports Direct’s 2021 Christmas campaign.

The British star has become a global sensation since winning the US Open in September and has signed lucrative contracts with the likes of Tiffany and Dior.

Now, Sports Direct are the latest brand to secure the services of the teenager, with the tennis star featuring in the company’s new Christmas advert alongside a number of other famous British sportspeople.

The advert begins with England and West Ham star Declan Rice sitting at a table doing a jigsaw puzzle and proclaiming he is “busy.”

Other stars, including world heptathlon champion, Katarina Johnson-Thompson and boxer Natasha Jonas, utter the same thing before it is suddenly revealed to be snowing outside.

From there, a whole host of sports personalities slip on their winter gear, which includes pieces from the new Sports Direct collection, before stepping outside to take part in a massive snowball fight.

Manchester City’s Jack Grealish is immediately hit by his England teammate Jordan Pickford, who grins eagerly as he yells “got ya.”

Similarly, England rugby player Maro Itoje fires a snowball at Bath winger, Anthony Watson, with the Bath winger urging Itoje to “watch it.”

Then Raducanu appears. The 18-year-old is shown in tennis attire, hiding behind a car, and shouts “new balls please.”

The US Open champion then proceeds to serve a snowball with her racquet straight into the back of Grealish, who appears less than impressed.

Soon, tons of British sports stars join the action, including Chelsea duo, Mason Mount and Fran Kirby, golfer Andrew Johnston and boxer Conor Benn.

Overall, the new £6 million campaign is an action-packed, fun-filled, original advert, that is sure to get Brits eager to play sport, even in the toughest of conditions.

Though it is likely to spark Christmas fever among the public, Raducanu is still focused on finishing the tennis season for the time being.

The Brit has struggled for form since winning in New York and will finish her season at the Upper Austria Ladies Linz tournament later this month.

After that, the teenager may finally have time to relax, recuperate and enjoy a well-earned celebration, for what has been a truly remarkable year.
