Football Manager 2022: Juventus, Inter and every Serie A transfer budget

Football Manager 2022 PC Xbox (@FootballManager)

Football Manager 2022’s budgets are officially out, with Serie A a hugely attractive league for new managers.

And we’ve taken a look at the budgets from across the Italian top-flight so you know exactly what you’ll be getting into.

Those who have pre-ordered the game have access to the beta and can start getting their hands dirty in the virtual dugout, and can do so in Serie A with plenty of huge clubs, such as Juventus, Roma, Inter Milan and AC Milan.

Heading to Italy would allow you to take charge of the likes of Paulo Dybala, Kalidou Koulibaly and go toe-to-toe with Jose Mourinho.

Sports Interactive always offers players the opportunity to play the game two weeks early in order to playtest and discover bugs, as well as to start their saves before the official launch of the game.

We at GiveMeSport have been playing the game whenever we’ve had the opportunity and have combed through the top leagues to find out every club’s budget.

We’ve written about both the Premier League and the Championship to date, and we’re now heading further afield, to Italy and Serie A!

Take a look at every budget in Serie A, one the world’s most glamorous leagues, below.

Every budget in Serie A

In Italy, there are a fair few genuine giants that you can choose to manage.

The likes of Juventus, AC Milan, and Inter Milan are all huge clubs with plenty of pulling power when it comes to luring players from their rivals, while Roma are currently managed by Jose Mourinho.

There’s also the high-intensity of Atalanta, the fallen giant of Lazio, and the excitement of Napoli.

You might well be spoilt for choice when it comes to picking an Italian club to manage, especially when you see the budgets.

Take a look below!

Atalanta – £13.6m
Bologna – £6.8m
Cagliari – £4.7m
Empoli – £2.9m
Fiorentina – £7.2m
Genoa – £6.4m
Inter Milan – £17.1m
Juventus – £16.2m
Lazio – £12.3m
Milan – £15.8m
Napoli – £13.2m
Roma – £10.2m
Salernitana – £2.5m
Sampdoria – £7.6m
Sassuolo – £9.4m
Spezia – £4.2m
Torino – £5.1m
Udinese – £5.5m
Venezia – £2.1m
Verona – £7.6m

This might be one of the only leagues in Europe where every single club has over £1m to spend in the first transfer window.

Seven clubs have over £10m to splash, while the likes of Sassuolo, Fiorentina and Verona all have chunky budgets that could be used to strengthen their squads no end if utilised properly.

It’s interesting to note that Juventus don’t actually have the biggest budget in Serie A; that instead goes to Inter Milan.

There are some really excellent challenges to be had in Italy in this year’s game, be it restoring a fallen giant to their former glory, or attempting to establish a genuine stranglehold on the title.

The Italian top-flight used to be the place to go for the top players from across the world; can you raise their stature to that level again?

Football Manager 2022’s beta is officially out and available to download on Steam for PC and Mac.

The official game will release on November 9th, when the game will also hit Xbox Game Pass and be available for download for nothing, provided you have a subscription.
