Football Manager 2022 is almost here and Paris Saint-Germain are again one of the best teams in the game, with the likes of Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, Sergio Ramos and Gianluigi Donnarumma in the squad!

It’s not really fair that Les Parisiens have three of the very best players in the world in their attack and on FM, but they also have one of the biggest budgets.

The Ligue 1 giants enjoyed one of the most remarkable transfer windows in football history last summer and it’s hardly Sports Interactive’s fault that they’re so overpowered!

Football Manager 2022 has reflected just how good PSG are and you’ve got a fair amount of money left over to spend to strengthen the squad even further.

Of course, PSG aren’t the only club in Ligue 1, with the likes of Olympique Lyonnais and Marseille having the history of genuinely huge clubs, while last season’s champions Lille will be trying to retain their title even in such a monopolised league.

That being said, the nine-time Ligue 1 winners are one of many clubs in the French top-flight with money to spend and GiveMeSport has taken a look at just how much cash each side has to splash in the window.

Take a look below!

Indeed, there are a fair few real challenges to take on in France, whether you want a title challenge, a crack at Europe, or a save designed to keep a club in the French top-flight.

It’s a star-studded league with most of them residing in Paris, namely Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe.

But there is a reason the league is called the “league of talents” - they’ve got plenty of excellent wonderkids who are waiting to earn their first big move to a genuine European giant.

This isn’t really a fair fight, is it?

PSG have a huge amount of money to spend and can further improve a genuinely exceptional starting squad.

However, there’s joy to be had at other clubs in the top-flight, with the likes of Marseille, Rennes, and reigning champions Lille all having a fair bit to spend on potential improvements in the summer.

There are challenges too, with more than half of the clubs in the league having under £4m to spend in the window.

You have a decision to make: Manage PSG and hoover up the trophies or take them down? Challenge yourself.

It’s up to you!
