Doudrop has opened up about missing out on a run in NXT after being moved from NXT UK to Monday Night Raw earlier this year.

The route that superstars from NXT UK take is usually working for a bit in NXT in the US before transitioning to the main roster, but that isn't what Doudrop did.

The former Piper Niven moved straight up from NXT UK to WWE Raw, and has now opened up about whether or not she wishes she spent some time in NXT before going to the main roster.

In an exclusive interview with GiveMeSport, Doudrop explained that she sees both the positives and negatives of missing out on a run with Triple H's brand, saying:

It's a bit of a yes and no. Yes, I really would have liked that experience. and I would have liked the matches that I would have had there and the people I would have gotten to work with. At the same time, I don't think there's anything that can prepare you for the main roster, like they're just so night and day.

Doudrop went on to speak about how NXT and NXT UK, at least in her mind, are very similar, meaning she was disadvantaged on the main roster by not working in NXT.

The Scotswoman continued by saying that she isn't sure that working in WWE NXT would have been prepared her for her time on the main roster.

I would say NXT UK and NXT are very similar in the way they work and how things go, like you know, what's expected of you. The main roster is entirely different, entirely different, so I'm not even sure if I did get to have that experience that would have been more prepared, because it's very much thinking on your feet, sink or swim. So I honestly don't know if it would have made that much of a difference.

We have seen several main roster members move back to NXT, with the likes of Finn Balor and Mandy Rose returning to the brand, and Doudrop hinted that she could do some work with NXT in the future.

I don't think it's a very ABC option. I think, you know, you never know what might happen though. Like WWE always likes to keep people on the toes and surprise people, so I'm sure I'll end up there at some point.

Doudrop is set to take part in WWE's tour of the UK, which kicked off this week. You can find out more information and purchase tickets for the show by clicking here.
