Can Red Bull be stopped by Mercedes?

Red Bull are being widely tipped to be the team to beat this weekend.

The Honda engine regularly does well at altitude and that is the environment we find ourselves in in Mexico this weekend.

Can Mercedes stop them from taking another victory after their win in the US last time out? They certainly need to do all they can.

Will McLaren or Ferrari come out on top?

McLaren lead the fight for third place but by a handful of points and may feel the Scuderia are now in the ascendancy - could Ferrari claim third in the Constructors' at this crucial point in the season.

We want both outfits challenging for victories from next year and hopefully this fight is a prelude to that.

Will Sergio Perez give up a home victory?

Picture the scene, Sergio Perez - who is in good form at the moment - is leading his home race with just a few laps to go and then he gets the call to let Max Verstappen through who could be in second, what will he do?

Perez has played the team game well this year but has said he wants to win this weekend and begin setting up a 2022 title challenge.

He'll surely yield if asked but the home crowd will likely not be pleased - let's just wait and see what happens if it happens, though.

AlphaTauri to be jumped by Alpine?

Alpine are 10 points off of AlphaTauri in the fight for fifth in the Constructors' and it does seem as though it's between those two now to try and finish in the top half of the table.

Aston Martin have been dropped somewhat and it's going to be fascinating watching these two duel it out in the final few races - can Alpine make inroads here?

How will the other Mercedes runners fare?

As mentioned, the Honda power unit seems to cope better at altitude than the Mercedes one so it'll be interesting to see how the works team and the likes of Williams and McLaren get along with them also using Merc components in the back of their cars.

All these engines are pretty much bullet proof now in terms of running a race but could a power deficit cost these teams dear?
