Daily Star journalist Paul Brown believes Newcastle United's new owners have made "a lot of mistakes" in their first month at the club.
There was plenty of excitement when the takeover, led by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF), went through in October, but things have not gone particularly smoothly since then.
What's the latest news at Newcastle?
When PIF came into the picture, it seemed inevitable that Steve Bruce would be sacked straight away. However, he actually kept his job for the best part of two weeks, before he was eventually relieved of his duties.
Newcastle have since been linked with a number of managers to replace Bruce, and it seemed at the start of this week that they had a decent chance of landing former Arsenal boss Unai Emery.
However, Emery decided to reject the Magpies and stay in La Liga with Villarreal.
Newcastle have now turned their attention to Eddie Howe, and appear to be closing in on announcing him as their new manager on a two-and-a-half year deal.
What has Brown said about Newcastle's owners?
Brown has been unconvinced by the decision-making from the owners, and has suggested that they have made a number of errors due to their lack of knowledge on the sport.
Referring to the key figures behind the scenes at St James' Park, Brown told GIVEMESPORT: “They don’t seem to be football people, and they’ve made a lot of mistakes in the recruitment process. They’ve briefed a lot of stuff that hasn’t happened, which has made them look a bit foolish.”

Can Newcastle's owners start to get things right?
It has not been a good look for the club in recent weeks, as they have been linked with numerous managers without getting one across the line.
If they can get Howe confirmed, though, this would be a step in the right direction. Getting a manager in place is vital, and the club can start to build from there once that is done.
A two-week international break is also coming up, so this should give Newcastle's hierarchy time to sit down and plan their next moves.
Thus far, they seem to have done a lot of things off the cuff, but they now need to have a clear vision moving forwards if they are going to give the team on the pitch the best chance of avoiding relegation this season.
