Before tonight's episode of Friday Night SmackDown, two members of the NXT 2.0 roster are set to work dark matches for the live crowd.Kyle O'Reilly and Johnny Gargano are both, at least according to reports, set to be at Evansville for tonight's episode of Friday Night SmackDown.John Pollock of POST Wrestling was the first to report that both Gargano and O'Reilly are set to work untelevised matches for the live crowd before tonight's show. The news has since been confirmed by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, who noted on Twitter that both Gargano and O'Reilly are slated to be at the location of the show tonight.

This is significant for quite a few reasons, mainly because of the ongoing contract situations of both men right now, and what this could mean for their futures.

WWE usually has wrestlers from NXT work dark matches before TV shows in preparation for main roster call ups, as has been seen lately with the likes of Hit Row, Xia Li and Austin Theory.

This means that it's not out of the realms of possibility to suggest that WWE is scouting both Johnny Gargano and Kyle O'Reilly for main roster call ups in the not too distant future.

Both Johnny Gargano and Kyle O'Reilly's contracts with WWE are set to expire next month, so it's also likely that WWE is potentially considering calling them up to either WWE Raw or SmackDown when they are offered new deals.
