WWE SmackDown: Shotzi fires brutal warning towards Sasha Banks

Sasha Banks, Shotzi

WWE SmackDown star Shotzi has called out Sasha Banks and promised to “run over” The Boss and anyone else that stands in her path.

Shotzi debuted on SmackDown in July this year alongside tag team partner Tegan Nox, but the duo were separated when Nox was drafted to RAW as part of this year’s superstar shakeup.

The former NXT tag team champion then decided to go solo and took on Charlotte Flair in a Championship Contenders match last week.

However, after losing to The Queen, Shotzi attacked Banks, who was ringside at the time –– turning heel in the process.

And on this week’s SmackDown, Shotzi doubled-down on her new hatred for The Boss –– delivering a savage verbal assault on the former Triple-Crown winner that may well have ignited a feud between the pair.

“I have finally had enough,” Shotzi said last night. “Ever since I came to SmackDown, I’ve lost title opportunities, I’ve lost my tag partner, I’ve lost the support of the WWE universe.

“And last week thanks to Sasha Banks, I lost the biggest match of my entire career. I’m not going to smile and pretend everything’s ok anymore.

“Sasha’s patronising attitude was my breaking point. And now Sasha is my target. I am going to run over Sasha Banks and anyone else that gets in my way. And I don’t need a tank to do it.

Meanwhile, it seems Banks might have moved on from trying to win back the SmackDown Women’s Championship belt for the time being.

The Boss started the year by winning the SmackDown title at the Royal Rumble, but then lost the belt at WrestleMania 37, after facing off against Bianca Belair in the main event.

Banks tried to reclaim the championship title again at Crown Jewel last month but was unsuccessful as Becky Lynch retained the belt.

A potential match between Shotzi and Banks has seemingly got people excited online.

One fan wrote on Twitter: “Stinks that Tegan Nox and Shotzi split. I personally love this side of her. A match between Shotzi and Sasha Banks would be epic.”

While It remains to be seen how this feud will develop, it’s clear that Shotzi is no longer a babyface and that Banks is no longer in the title picture.
