Irina Sidorkova and Nerea Martí will take part in a full Formula 3 testing day in France on Tuesday after enjoying a strong W Series season. The drivers were two of the youngest on the roster this year — both making their debut in the championship as part of the W Series Academy team.Martí, 19, had an incredible rookie season, finishing fourth in the drivers' standings and securing her first podium at the Hungaroring.Sidorkova, 18, also enjoyed the sensation of claiming her first ever podium — a P2 finish in Austria during the second race of the season. However, due to travel restrictions, the Russian was unable to compete in the final two races at the Circuit of the Americas in Texas.Nonetheless, she finished in a respectable ninth place, ahead of more experienced drivers like Jessica Hawkins and Abbie Eaton. To redeem her disappointing end to the season but also celebrate her breakthrough campaign, Sidorkova will get behind the wheel of an F3 car as she takes another step in her racing career.Ahead of the test day, Sidorkova has shared an adorable photo of herself when she was younger, along with a heartwarming caption.

"About dreams. When I was 7 in Italy I saw a formula car for the first time. They put me inside to take a [picture] with flash & then I was the happiest child on the earth...

"Today, for the first time, I will sit in #F3 car to make a race seat for tomorrow's first tests in a real Formula 3 car!"

Sidorkova started karting at just six years of age after being inspired by the film Cars. Now, she is quickly climbing the ladder towards the very top — joining the other W Series stars in constantly chipping away at the glass ceiling.
