Former Divas Champion Paige has taken to social media to share her unhappiness with one of WWE's recent releases, urging the company to reconsider its decision.

Nia Jax was one of the 18 wrestlers recently by WWE on Thursday evening, mere hours after the company announced staggering profits in its Q3 earnings report.

Jax was perhaps the most high-profile and surprising release, especially considering how protected the 37-year-old had been since her main roster debut in 2016.

Many people were also surprised that Nia Jax was released considering that WWE wants to bring in her cousin, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, for a match with Roman Reigns in the next 18 months.

As has been the case for the other 17 wrestlers that were let go by WWE, heartwarming messages have been flooding in Nia Jax since her release from the company last week.

The latest, and perhaps most notable, of these came from former WWE Superstar Paige, who shared her thoughts on social media over the weekend.

In a post on Twitter, Paige urged Vince McMahon to "bring back" Nia Jax to WWE, posting a picture of the pair from backstage at a show together.

A lot has come out about Nia Jax since her release from WWE, with reports suggesting she was one of five wrestlers to have been let go due to the fact that she wasn't vaccinated against COVID-19.

Nia Jax has since taken to social media to deny that her vaccination status was brought up by WWE when they released her.

The former Raw Women's Champion also heartbreakingly revealed that she was fired the same week she asked WWE for additional time off to focus on her mental health.
