Barcelona are the latest club to register their interest in Benfica winger Nicolas Gaitan, according to talkSPORT.
The Catalans went to watch the 23-year-old during Benfica's trip to Manchester United, where the Premier League champions kept their own eye on the player.
United's interest had led to sir Alex Ferguson praising Gaitan, however, Barcelona now appear to be interested.
No player has made more assists than Gaitan in the Champions League this season, with the first of four coming against United in the opening group game of the competition.
United are reportedly ready to bide their time in the chase for Gaitan, but Barca's interest could force them into a January bid to secure their man.
