Spurs manager is ready to spend £7million to bring Blackburn star Junior Hoilett to White Hart Lane in January. are reporting that Redknapp has decided to move for the 21-year-old, who has attracted interest form a number of Premier League clubs, including Spurs’ local rivals Arsenal.

Hoilett’s contract expires in the summer and the player has so far refused to sign an extension to his current deal, which has piqued Tottenham’s interest.

Blackburn may decide to cash in on the speedy winger rather than lose him for free at the end of the season.

Spurs have indicated that the transfer of Hoilett would be offset by the sale of unhappy midfielder Niko Kranjcar.

The Croatia international has spoken of his disappointment at not being in Harry Redknapp’s first team plans and is looking for a move away from White Hart Lane.

The 27-year-old is currently recovering from an ankle injury but hopes to secure a switch in January.

Roma and Sunderland have both expressed an interest in Kranjcar previously, thought to be able to fetch as much as the £7million mooted for Rovers’ Hoilett.

Blackburn are thought to want to insert an £18 million buy-out clause in the new contract offer for Hoilett, but the player is worried about the club being relegated.
