Argentine superstar Lionel Messi will not leave Camp Nou, insists Barcelona president Sandro Rosell.
The 24-year-old South American starlet made his debut for the La Liga giants in 2004, and has gone on to help the Catalan club lift countless trophies.
Messi is widely regarded as the best player in the world, and with that tag comes an inevitable amount of interest from clubs all over the globe - many of whom would love to prise the former Ballon d'Or winner away from Spain.
However, amid recent speculation suggesting Messi could leave Barcelona, Rosell has refuted claims the European champions are about to lose their most valuable asset.
"At Barcelona, there are many things that are not for sale at any price, and Messi is a person who is just that for us," he told Sport.
"As long as I'm the president at Barcelona, and he does not want to leave, Leo will continue to be a Barca player.
"If it were up to me, he would never leave the club."
