Chelsea and Arsenal target Stevan Jovetic is a January target for Borussia Dortmund according to talkSPORT.

The 22-year-old Montenegrin international heads a list of replacement targets for the German giants who are fending off interest in both Mario Goetze and Shinji Kagawa.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has tracked Jovetic for quite some time, and is believed to have been preparing an offer for the attacking midfielder, in an attempt to bring him to Arsenal when the transfer window reopens.

Meanwhile, Blues boss Andre Villas-Boas has also been credited with an interest in the player, and with an estimated valuation of £12million, Chelsea may try to tempt Jovetic to Stamford Bridge over the Emirates.

Under contract until 2016, Fiorentina will not be forced to sell their star-man in the New Year, but may allow Jovetic to leave Italy in a bid to generate funds for further player acquisitions.

Arsenal are also rumoured to be planning a move for Dortmund's Goetze, so it is ironic that a bid for him could come back to haunt Wenger and Co. if the Bundesliga outfit then rival the Gunners for Jovetic's signature.
