QPR striker Jamie Mackie has admitted that he would definitely play for the Team GB Olympic football team if selected.
Although the Scottish FA have made it clear they do not want their players to be part of the squad, Mackie admits he would be keen on the idea.
"Obviously to be a part of it would be amazing," said Mackie.
"I can't talk for any other player apart from myself, it's down to the individual, but I'm sure players would be happy to play in that team," added the Scotsman.
The QPR striker shows his patriotism by saying: "The way I see it is I would be representing Scotland but in the GB team."
He also confirmed if he was not lucky enough to get picked he would be there to see the Olympic action.
"If I'm not picked I'll be there as a spectator."
The debate as to whether or not representatives for Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales will play continues.
