Bolton defender Gary Cahill remains on the radar of Tottenham, it has been claimed.
According to the Daily Mail, Harry Redknapp retains an interest in the 25-year-old England international, having attempted to sign him in the summer.
Spurs had tried on deadline day to lure Cahill to White Hart Lane, but were unable to agree a fee with Bolton.
However, with the centre-back out of contract next summer, the Trotters are likely to cash-in on their prized asset in January, and Spurs are said to be monitoring his situation.
Along with Spurs, Arsenal have also been linked with Cahill, but Arsene Wenger has ruled himself out of the running, claiming 'greediness on the part of Bolton'.
Chelsea are also reported to be pursuing Cahill, and could well battle it out with Spurs in the New Year.
Meanwhile, Redknapp has stated he currently as no intention to dip into the transfer market, but will do so if the likes of William Gallas or Ledley King sustain further injuries.
