Manchester United are reportedly keeping a close eye on Venezuelan starlet Roberto Carlos Brito Guyanese Rojas, also known as Roberto Junior.

The 18-year-old recently completed a move to American junior side Dallas Texans, who are an official feeder side for United.

Sky Sports report that Manchester United scouts helped identify Roberto Junior’s talent and set up the deal with the Texans with a view of bringing him to Old Trafford in the future.

The Texans and United have a link-up through their academy set-up, and United intend to keep regular contact with the American outfit according to the site to keep boss Sir Alex Ferguson up to speed with his developments.

The Red Devils could bring the talented youngster to England as part of a delegation that arrives to train with United every year.
