Roberto Mancini says he is 'very satisfied' that his Manchester City side sit top of the Barclays Premier League, although admits anyone can win the title this season.

City are currently five points clear of rivals Manchester United after another resounding weekend victory, while third placed Tottenham are a further seven points back.

Mancini's side have been in quite sensational form, and have registered 13 wins and a solitary draw in their 14 league outings so far this term.

However, the Italian realises that nothing is won until May, although he admits he has been pleased with the exploits of his City squad so far.

"I'm very satisfied and very happy for my players," he told Sky Sports News. "They deserve to stay at the top at this moment.

"But we know the season is very long and very hard."

Mancini, though, maintains that City could be caught by United, Tottenham, Arsenal, Chelsea or Liverpool if they become complacent.

"I think Tottenham are having a good season - they have started very well," he added.

"I think for the title race it will be a number of teams. Chelsea,Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham, [Manchester] United and us.

"I hope my team continue to play well, score goals and continue to win."
