Juventus have reportedly sounded out the representatives of Chelsea striker Salomon Kalou, who is a target for Arsenal.
According to Tuttosport, Juve have made contact with Kalou's camp regarding a proposed move to Turin during the January transfer window.
Kalou is seemingly set to leave Stamford Bridge should Chelsea receive an acceptable offer, after hinting he sees his future elsewhere.
The 26-year-old has never been a guaranteed starter during his time with the Blues, and Saturday's appearance against Newcastle was his 100th as a substitute.
It was reported on Monday that Arsenal are monitoring Kalou as Arsene Wenger peruses the market for back-up for Gunners captain Robin van Persie.
However, Wenger has also stated that he currently has no plans to reinforce his Arsenal squad during the winter, having performed some substantial business during the summer months.
Arsenal have, though, been constantly linked with potential acquisitions, the most frequent of which is German striker Lukas Podolski.
